This is just a post to explain the whole idea of "Dai-chan Awareness Day". It started out as one of my random jokes, but now, I'm being 100% serious about it. So, as the founder of this wonderful day, I'm trying to spread the word. The point of Dai-chan Awareness Day is to spread the Dai-chan love + fandom, obviously. I think he deserves much more love, since he's just so awesome. >:D

All my posts relating to Dai-chan Awareness Day will be "advertised" in those communities, since I am the founder of both. I'm pretty bored, and I don't feel like ranting about my day, so I'll make a little...tutorial thing. I'll be explaining how to get to the official JE store in Harajuku, and what to do when you get there. I've only been there twice, so I'm still a newbie at this. If you have any questions (about JE stores or Japan in general), just ask and I'll try my best to answer them.

OKAY, I finally made the Dai-chan community! I don't think I can handle everything alone, so I'm looking for general moderators, graphics makers, and translators. Maybe...3 of each? I'd prefer it if you were a Dai-chan fan that is active in LJ, because I guess you'd be more motivated to be active in the community...O___O; I finished the layout/header and profile, and I'm currently working on the introduction post.

Oh, and if you ask to be a moderator/graphics maker/translator, please don't be one of those people who don't do anything. If that happens, I'll drop you from the team list. So just do your job, and everybody wins. :D

**EDIT:
You MUST have Photoshop/Photoshop experience to become a graphics maker. Any version is fine. If I don't know you already, please have some examples of your graphics in your journal or comment for me to see. I don't want random people who don't have experience with graphics to be a part of the team. Sorry. And remember that this is a Dai-chan community, so your graphic batches must include him. Feel free to post any type of graphic. Icons, wallpapers, layouts, banners, etc.

When you apply for a mod position, I'd like it if you have some experience with modding, or at least be able to be active. I'm a mod for various Dai-chan/HSJ groups on crunchyroll and other HSJ fansites. Just being a hardcore Dai-chan fan DOESN'T ALWAYS make you a good mod. You have to be the one posting regularly and looking over all the posts from members. In other words, be a full-time Dai-chan fan. If Dai-chan isn't your favorite member in HSJ, I advise you not to become a mod, because you'll probably not be active, and you'll lose modding privileges.

You may be thinking, "if you know Japanese, then why the hell do you need translators?". First, I'm way too lazy to translate. Second, I have no time. Third, I suck at translating. I sound like a FOB Japanese person just learning English when I translate. So yeah. If you're fluent in Japanese and English, this is the job for you. :D

Please contact me before making any major changes to the community. Don't change the layout or profile. I'll handle those things.
